The Phobians beat Eleven-Is-To-One for the second time in four days in the novelty league, interestingly by the same score

Goals from Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi were enough to earn Hearts of Oak a second straight win over Inter Allies as the Ghana Special Competition league stage entered the second round on Sunday.

Hearts 2-0 away triumph at Tema handed the Phobians all three points in the Zone B fixture.

The result lifted them to second on the table in the zone, only inferior to leaders Wafa due to goal difference. Allies sit bottom of the table.

Wafa moved top of the table thanks to a 2-0 home victory over Ebusua Dwarfs. Prosper Ahiabu and Timothee Kofi Koudo netted to ensure full points for the Academy Boys.

Karela United topped the table ahead of the matchday, but have slumped to fourth following a 3-3 away draw with fifth-positioned Liberty Professionals. They had to sweat it out for a point as they came from three goals down. Benjamin Eshun (twice) and Simon Zibo (a penalty) stormed the home side into a great lead before Solomon Sarfo Taylor and Diawisie Taylor (twice) netted to amazingly draw this action-packed encounter.

Following a 0-0 draw in last week's first leg, Elmina Sharks showed up in a ruthless mood for Sunday's second leg with a 5-1 home triumph at the Nduom Sports Stadium. Emmanuel Addington, Benjamin Tweneboah (twice), Augustine Owusu and Benjamin Boateng scored to take the hosts to third on the table. Ghana U20 left-back Montari Kamaheni registered a consolation goal for second-from-bottom Still Believe.

In Zone A, Asante Kotoko could not get a double over Berekum Chelsea as they settled for a 0-0 draw away at the Golden City Park. The first leg in Kumasi ended 2-0 in favour of the Porcupines, who still sit top of the table despite losing two points. The Blues are bottom of the log.

In Tarkwa, Samuel Appiah's strike emerged as the separating factor as Medeama pipped Aduana Stars 1-0. Their positions on the table remain unchanged as they occupy the second and third spots respectively.

Eleven Wonders picked just their second win of the season with a stunning 3-0 away victory over Bechem United. Solomon Afriyie, Francis Antwi and Alex Asamoah were the goalscorers. Both teams are now tied on seven points but Wonders sit higher on the table on 5th position due to a better goal difference.

The match between Wa All Stars and Ashanti Gold has been postponed.
